Plot Summary:
Kei (Rina Takeda) joins a karate dojo and quickly proves herself to be the most skilled fighter amongst all her male peers. However, her sensei Matsumura still refuses to give her the coveted black belt until she learns all the kata (forms). Too impatient to wait any longer, Kei hastily joins a fighting group called the Destroyers. The Destroyers don’t care about anything but fighting and earning money, and this suits Kei just fine. But when she finds out their true purpose — to destroy Matsumura — she decides she must do whatever it takes to put a stop to them.

Nu, pogodi! (Russian: Ну, погоди!, Well, Just You Wait! or You Just Wait!) is a Soviet/Russian animated series produced by Soyuzmultfilm. The series was created in 1969 and became a popular cartoon of the Soviet Union. Additional episodes have been produced in Russia since 2006. The original film language is Russian but very little speech is used (usually interjections or at most several sentences per episode).

The series follows the comical adventures of an artistic and mischievous wolf trying to catch (and presumably eat) a hare. The series has additional characters that usually either help the hare or interfere with the wolf's plans.

Summer Wars (サマーウォーズ, Samā Wōzu) is a 2009 anime science fiction film. The film focuses on a timid eleventh-grade math genius who has been falsely implicated in the hacking of a virtual world and, with the aid of a classmate's extensive family, must prevent the real and computer-simulated worlds from colliding. It was produced by the Japanese animation studio Madhouse and directed by Mamoru Hosoda.

The project was first announced without a title at the 2008 Tokyo International Anime Fair, and the first trailer of the film was released in April 2009. Audience interest was fueled primarily through word of mouth and Internet publicity. Two manga adaptations of the film were published ahead of the film's release in Japan. It was nominated for the 2009 Golden Leopard award at the Locarno International Film Festival. It won the 2010 Japan Academy Prize for Animation of the Year.

Oscar 2010 82nd Academy Awards

The 82nd Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, honored the best films of 2009 and took place March 7, 2010, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California beginning at 5:30 p.m. PST/8:30 p.m. EST (01:30 UTC, March 8). The ceremony was scheduled from its usual late February date to avoid coinciding with the 2010 Winter Olympics. The Academy Awards ceremony was televised in the United States on ABC. Actors Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin hosted the show. Martin hosted for the third time, after previously presiding over the 73rd and 75th ceremonies, while Baldwin hosted the show for the first time. This was the first telecast to have multiple hosts since the 59th ceremony. However, announcer Gina Tuttle did a majority of the presenter introductions.

On February 20, 2010, in a ceremony at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, the Academy Awards for Technical Achievement were presented by host Elizabeth Banks.
